ORANGE TREE CHILDREN'S NURSERY
Centrally located in the Al Jafiliya area of Bur Dubai, our nursery welcomes children up to the age of 4. Our nursery was one of the earliest adopters of the International Preschool Curriculum (IPC) in the region. The IPC was developed by an academic team consisting of Doctorate Holders in Education and is one of the most researched international programs for early childhood education available today.
SOCIAL SKILLS & EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
A DAY AT ORANGE TREE
The children start arriving at the Nursery, ready for the day, they start with table top activities like building blocks which help develop their gross motor skills!
SNACK TIME is when children learn to eat independently under the supervision of our staff
Every 30 minutes the children enjoy a different activity, each activity is carefully chosen from the core content areas of the International Preschool Curriculum (IPC). There are six core content areas that form the IPC syllabus:
Circle time is all about teacher-child bonding, with activities that include phonics practice, word exercises and singing related to the special topic of the day!
The children also enjoy activities designed to help develop their writing skills, music and Arabic language skills.
At Orange Tree Children's Nursery we believe in the importance of fostering creativity in our children from a young age. We believe that creating an environment that engages and encourages children's creativity will help them develop mentally, socially and emotionally. There are many studies which demonstrate the link between creative play, arts & crafts with mental and social development in children. Artistic play may also help boost young children's problem solving skills and analytical development, whilst using tools such as a paintbrush helps to develop their fine motor skills, incorporating games such as counting pieces and colors develops basic maths and help to enable a safe environment for our children to experiment with confidence, they are free to make mistakes and to invent new ways of thinking, which extends well beyond the walls of our nursery!
